As I began my spiritual journey in early 2008, I started attracting various works from many different spiritual masters. This journey continues today and I keep coming across multitude of books and movies that increase my thirst for knowledge more than they satisfy it. Two great masters that have been instrumental in steering my path in the direction of ‘accepting what I have before I go on to create what I desire‘ are Dr. Wayne Dyer and Abraham-Hicks.
I discovered Dr. Dyer’s movie The Shift – from ambition to meaning when I was struggling in creating what I desired certain aspects of my life. I had changed myself and my life quite significantly in the few years before that and suddenly I seem to not be able to do the same anymore. Looking back now, I can say that the Universe wanted me to go to the next level of this journey of co-creation. It was time that I learnt to accept what already was before I could create what I desired. The Shift got the point across in a manner very gentle and elderly – in the manner of Dr. Wayne Dyer. This movie, like any inspiring spiritual work, has many layers to it. Even when I watch it today, years after discovering it, Dr. Dyer always teaches me something new about life.
The book Ask and it is given was recommended to me by a cousin who had fallen in love with it. Before I bought this book, I had listened to Abrahams’ wisdom in Louise Hay’s movie You can heal your life. However, the book took me much deeper into the process of co-creation. Ask, expect, receive. We do all too well in asking. However, most of the time, we do not expect to get what we asked for. Worst still, we expect not to get it! In this book, Abraham taught me – through Esther Hicks – how to expect and receive by matching the vibration of what I had asked for.
Now, these two master teachers have come together in a conversation, to teach us Co-creating at Its Best. Watch, read and have fun co-creating!
